Selegiline HCl for Dogs and Cats - (se-le-ji-leen) - Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor
Same active ingredient as Anipryl®, & Eldepryl® Uses - Selegiline HCl is used for the treatment of Cushing's disease in dogs. Selegiline HCl may be helpful in Canine Cognitive Dysfunction and feline cognitive dysfunction syndrome.
Selegiline HCl is not very effective for treating Cushing’s disease caused by the adrenal glands. Selegiline HCl generally is better tolerated than Mitotane (Lysodren®).
